Students will learn and apply information literacy skills within the frameworks of curricular research, instructional needs, NYS Standards and 21st Century Skills.

Students will expand their appreciation of literature and enrich their lives through the enjoyment of reading.

Students will strengthen problem solving strategies to manage information needs and pursue lifelong independent learning.

The Library Media Center provides access to quality resources in a variety of formats; carries out class and individual instruction in information retrieval and critical evaluation of resources; engages in readers' advisory.

The Library Media Center strives to link the school community to an ever wider circle of literature, knowledge, and information.
